Weekly activity on Mondays 4:15-5:00
This is a fun time for the kids to get together and play chess. We have students of different levels and ages attending our regular chess group. This is not a chess class. The kids learn a lot from each other. We ask each child/family to bring a chess board. If you forgot yours, please still come as we usually have more than enough if everyone plans to bring one.
Some kids (commonly younger children) sometimes struggle with good sportsmanship, amongst other things. It will be up to the parent to provide any additional support when needed. If your child needs extra support or direction please do stay in the general vicinity while they play. It is up to the parents to manage their children in a way that will make this time enjoyable for all students.
